MEYUSH | Accessibility Statement
Last reviewed: April 2026 · Applies to: www.meyush.com
MEYUSH is committed to making our website accessible to everyone—including people with disabilities. This page explains our ongoing efforts to ensure our digital home is welcoming to all.
Section 01: Our Commitment to Accessibility
At MEYUSH, we believe that access to wellness and ethically sourced herbal products should not be limited by disability or device. We are committed to building a website that is usable by as many people as possible, including those who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, or voice control.
Our accessibility work is a journey. As an independent brand based in Kolkata, we are continuously learning. If you experience a barrier on our website that prevents you from completing a purchase or accessing information, please email us at meyush.tea@gmail.com. We will respond within 2 business days and work to resolve the issue personally.
Section 02: Conformance Status
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.
Current Status: Partially Conformant. While many parts of our site achieve Level AA standards, we are currently migrating to the Odoo platform, and some elements (such as advanced product filters or specific third-party widgets) are still being optimized for full accessibility.
Known Areas for Improvement:
Captions: We are working on adding full captions to all new product videos.
Form Labels: Some automated checkout elements generated by Odoo/Razorpay are currently being audited for clearer ARIA labeling.
Focus Order: We are refining the "skip to content" links for keyboard users during the checkout process.
Section 03: Third-Party Content
Our website is powered by Odoo. While we control the design, some structural components are provided by Odoo and our payment partner, Razorpay. We monitor their accessibility roadmaps and advocate for improvements where we find gaps. We also embed content from Instagram; these embeds are subject to Meta’s accessibility policies.
Section 04: How We Test
We use a mix of tools to ensure our site stays accessible:
Automated Audits: Regular scans using Google Lighthouse and axe DevTools.
Screen Reader Testing: Manual testing using VoiceOver (macOS/iOS) and NVDA (Windows).
Keyboard-Only Navigation: Ensuring all links, buttons, and forms can be used without a mouse.
Contrast Checks: Verifying text readability against WCAG AA standards.
Section 05: Improvement Roadmap (2026-2027)
Q3 2026: Complete a full audit of the new Odoo checkout flow to ensure seamless screen-reader support.
Q4 2026: Implementation of "Live Regions" for cart notifications, so users are immediately alerted when an item is added.
Ongoing: Training our content team to ensure every new blog post and product image includes high-quality Alt Text.
Section 06: Contact Us About Accessibility
