Our commitment
Meyush is committed to making meyush.com usable by as many people as possible, regardless of ability or the technology they use to browse. We're working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA — the widely recognised standard for web accessibility.
This is an ongoing effort. We haven't completed a full accessibility audit yet, and this statement will be updated as that work progresses.
What we're working on
- Descriptive alt text for product images, so screen readers can describe what's in each photo
- Sufficient colour contrast between text and backgrounds across the site
- Full keyboard navigation for menus, filters, and the cart
- Clear, consistent heading structure so screen reader users can navigate by section
- Readable, resizable text that doesn't break layout when zoomed
Compatibility
We aim for meyush.com to work with recent versions of major browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) and with common assistive technologies, including screen readers such as VoiceOver and NVDA. If something doesn't work with the setup you use, we want to know — see below.
